American-Italian model Melissa Satta, who played a showgirl in the Italian satirical series Striscia la notizia, has been exposed to a global audience after modeling for Maxim magazine and in the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue feature (as the girlfriend of footballer Christian Vieri.)
