A story in the Village Voice broke about Puerto Rican / Italian banker Debrahlee Lorenzana who was recently “let go” from her job at Citibank, allegedly for being so hot that her co-workers were excessively distracted.
In photos by Carrie Schechter, we see the suspect, without question guilty of being way hot. Beautiful skin, perfect ba-boom curves and style to boot a sort of cross between Famke Janssen, J. Lo and Kim Kardashian.
How long will it take for Hollywood to jump on this story? I wonder if Ms. Lorenzana can act? A turn in a major Hwood pic would lead to so many clothing endorsements, she could save all that money she is spending on designer clothing. That she was let go is ridiculous and without any legal ground, but to acknowledge that she is drop dead gorgeous we plead No Contest.

And yet there is the darker side to consider – if women (or men) are ever not allowed to make a living based on the way they are built, it is outright discrimination. As you will likely read on many comment threads in response to this story – fear and repression of sexuality, unfair bias – are forces to be combated. Let’s hope this pretty woman takes her former employers to town on this one.
